Prescriptions

We are now able to offer an online repeat prescription service. The facility is hosted by BlueBay Medical Systems and you will need to attend the surgery to complete a quick registration process in order to register for the facility and set up a username and password.

Click here to go to our online prescribing service.

You can also request a repeat prescriotion using any of the following ways:

  • In person - attend the surgery and arrange your repeat prescription at the reception desk with our prescriptions clerk
  • By telephone - call the surgery prescription line on 01792 456904
  • By post - we are happy to post prescriptions to you if you provide us with a SAE.

Please allow at least 24 hours notice when requesting your prescription to allow for it to be issued ready for collection. Please note that only medication that has been authorised for repeat prescribing can be issued by the above methods - this is printed on the righthand side of your prescription. If you require medication which is not on repeat, please arrange to see a doctor in our open access surgery or make a routine afternoon appointment.

If you have any special requirements regarding your prescriptions please do not hesitate to discuss with our prescribing clerk.

Medication reviews

Periodically we need to review your ongoing repeat prescriptions and re-authorise those prescriptions which are still necessary - often this happens without you being aware. However, you may sometimes be asked to see a doctor regarding an ongoing prescription. Whilst we accept this may occasionally represent an inconvenience, it is an essential part of maintaining our high standards of prescribing and care. If you are aware of any medication that is on your repeat slip that you no longer take, please let us know and we will remove this for you.
